Dr. Hot has extensive experience as a social worker practitioner in the public mental health services stem. How experience encompasses street out reach, case management, crisis intervention, counseling, clinical supervision, and grant writing/program development. Her current research is focused on the benefits of the human-animal bond, facilitators of mental health recovery among individuals living with mental illness, in the use of qualitative research to inform intervention research.
