Dr. Charles Hounmenou is an assistant professor at the Jane Addams College of Social Work, University of Illinois at Chicago. Formerly a research specialist at the College’s Center for Social Policy and Research, he conducted substantial research on human trafficking and police brutality in the U.S.A. Recently, he was the principal investigator for three international studies on child prostitution in Benin, Burkina Faso, and Niger. Hounmenou holds a Master and Ph.D. degrees in social work
