Dr. Charles Hounmenou is an Assistant Professor at the College of Social Work, UIC. His research areas include human trafficking and human rights of detainees. Recently, Hounmenou conducted a three-country study of child prostitution in West Africa. His current research includes a study of characteristics of child prostitution in Chicago.
