Amanda Knapp began researching human trafficking in Latin America while pursuing her Master of International Intercultural Education. Now during her doctoral studies, she continues her research with a focus on law enforcement cultural barriers influencing low victim identification rates, youth trafficking, labor trafficking, and public perception of the human trafficking crisis.
