Sarbinaz Bekmuratova has led research studies focusing on occupational therapists’ role in human trafficking (HT), vulnerabilities of youth with disabilities and racial minority youth, exploring ways to disrupt illicit HT supply networks in Kyrgyzstan, and most recently evaluating the impact of educational program on occupational therapy students’ HT knowledge and self-efficacy.
